Cold snap brings rolling power outages to Texas; is ERCOT policy of isolation at fault? (via Knowledge Problem)

Some one did mess with Texas. One comment wind power was online and didn’t cause the issue by failing in any sense. However, I think it may have increased reserve requirements and may have contributed in that fashion.
