Steve Landsburg helps us taste the bad taste being on cable news left in his mouth. He expressed views that were not popular with the audience of a cable news show, received his comeuppance.
It seems like so few who listen to talk radio or cable news are willing to really listen to anything they disagree with, willing to always reconsider their own views and maybe learn something. Mostly when anyone is brought in that challenges the audience, its to be told off either by commentators or the host.
No one wants risk learning anything.
