Why My Father Hated India – WSJ.com.

This was very worth reading.  India is a big deal I think.  Given the rising importance of China, and Asia generally.  I think it’s important that we keep india as friend and a counterweight to Beijing.

I’m thinking out loud and interested in interest (if any) in these:

1. When increased demand doesn’t mean increased price (price theory);

2. Why maybe better diabetes treatment doesn’t mean fewer diabetics (incentives and math);

3. How much revenue can high income tax payers cough up? (politics playing with numbers);

4. Repubs have you read the bill you want to repeal???? (polemic)

5. Other ideas?
