Cereal, Comma, and Robert Duvall (via Prometheus Unbound)

I like these grammar and punctuation posts. I hated this stuff in school much later in life, in working in with contracts, I get why it matters. In school it just felt like a bunch of arbitrary rules.

Are moderates Wishy Washy?

I think you can think of yourself as moderate or independent and actually be very engaged. One complaint that I think applies to ideologues of all types is a tendency to simply follow what ever the “party line” is rather than thinking through the merits of an issue.

For example, one could simply assert that 2 trillion dollars in capital are not invested because of the uncertainty due to Obamacare with out addressing the multiple factors that might explain. Ideologues don’t need evidence, they know in their gut what is right, and the fact that most people or least their fellow ideologues loudly agree with them is confirmation.
